Install the chat on a plain HTML website
Paste one line before </body> on each page.
- In Assistly, open Widget and click Copy code.
- Open your page's HTML file (or the shared footer file, if your site has one).
- Paste the code just before the closing
</body>tag. - Do this for every page where you want the chat, or once in the shared footer.
- Upload the changed files to your web host.
- Open your site and look for the chat bubble. In Assistly, Widget → Check my site reads the page and tells you if the code is there and correct.
Copy the whole line, including
data-company="…". Without it, the chat doesn't know which business it belongs to.Still stuck?
