Install the chat on Shopify
Add your chat code to your theme's theme.liquid file.
- In Assistly, open Widget and click Copy code.
- In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
- Next to your current theme, click the … button, then Edit code.
- Under Layout, open theme.liquid.
- Find the closing
</body>tag near the bottom and paste your code just above it. - Click Save, then open your store and look for the chat bubble.
If you later switch to a different theme, add the code to the new theme too.
