Suggested questions in the chat
Up to 3 questions visitors can tap under your first message, picked by you or filled in from your most asked questions.
Under your first message, the chat can show up to 3 questions a visitor can tap, like Do you offer free estimates? One tap sends that question as the visitor's message and your assistant answers right away, the same as if they had typed it. Once the chat has started, the buttons go away.
Pick your own
Open Widget in your dashboard and find the Suggested questions card. Type up to 3 questions, up to 80 characters each, and click Save. Write them in the language of your website, the way a visitor would ask.
Or let us fill them in
Leave the 3 boxes empty and the chat picks them for you:
- Your visitors' most asked questions that your assistant could answer, asked in at least 2 different chats.
- Until you have chats, the questions from your Questions & answers that have an answer filled in.
A question your assistant couldn't answer is never shown, and neither is anything that looks personal, like a name, an email address or a phone number. The card shows which questions visitors see right now. With no answered questions and no filled in Questions & answers yet, no buttons show.
Different questions on a page
Under Different questions on a page, add a page like /pricing and up to 3 questions for it, for example Which plan is right for me? on your pricing page. End with /* to include every page under it, like /services/*. You can set this for up to 5 pages. On those pages, these questions show instead of the others.
Works on phones and with a keyboard
The buttons fit on any phone screen, take your brand color, and can be reached with the Tab key and pressed with Enter or Space. Their label is read out in the visitor's language.
Still stuck?
Ask our assistant: it knows every article here, and our team reads every chat.
