Closed days and holidays

Add the dates you're closed, with a note for visitors, so your assistant never says the team is in on a holiday.

Your business hours repeat every week. Closed days are the dates that break the pattern: a holiday, a vacation, a day off. Add them once and your assistant knows. It is on every plan.

Add a closed day

  1. Open Settings and find Business hours & after hours mode.
  2. Under Closed days and holidays, pick the date in Closed on.
  3. Closed for more than one day? Pick the last day in Until. Leave it empty for one day.
  4. Add a Note for visitors if you like, such as "Closed for Thanksgiving, back Friday".
  5. Click Add closed day. It is saved right away.

Common holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve) are listed with their next date. Tap one to add it.

What changes on those dates

  • Your assistant tells visitors you're closed on those dates and never says the team is in. It knows about the closed days coming up, so it can answer "are you open on the 26th?".
  • Booking in the chat offers no times on closed days.
  • With after hours mode on, the chat shows your team as offline all day, shows your note under the hello, and says when you're back, skipping the closed days.

Time zones and past dates

Closed days follow the time zone in your business hours, so a closed day starts and ends at midnight where your business is, wherever your visitors are. Past dates drop off the list by themselves. Remove a date any time with the bin button.
